The test of time

In forest found,

a javelin,

its haft bejeweled with beads.

Its feathered shaft unraveling

was hid amongst the reeds.

Such luck there was

to find this thing,

of mythologic worth,

whose perfect point and balancing

impaled the crooked Earth.
